Today, the café culture is on the rise. Who does not want to spend a fine evening with someone special (or perhaps even alone in tranquillity) in a nice café, reading a fine book and enjoying a fine cup of latte?

as a matter of fact, for many of us, it is a dream to run a beautiful café. In this article, we shall see why this might be a brilliant idea.

People love coffee:

This is a universal truth-which is literally irrefutable. There are more people in the world who like coffee than those who do not. Coffee is perhaps the most popular beverage in the world after beer. It is the go-to drink for any given scenario- to kick start an energy-filled day, to spend a nice evening with your date, a drink for conversation, and making merry. So, the point is, coffee is basically a universal drink and people love it. coffee is versatile in the sense that it can satisfy anyone in any given scenario or situation-and in the sense that it can be consumed in various forms (that is various types of coffee drinks-latte, cappuccino, cold, Irish, etc). this gives people options. Options mean people will always be interested to try a new variant.

Cafés are always brimming with people:

As we have already mentioned in the previous point, a major reason for you to start a café is that people love coffee, but believe me, that is not the only reason why people come to a café. The concept of café originated in 18th century England, as coffee houses. Two factors that contributed to the rise of this culture were:

a) The rise of the middle class (men and women both contributed to the idea of café)

b) The rise of an educated middle-class who enjoyed political and social discussions, outside the four walls of their houses; giving the rise to the notion of high society.

The coffee houses become a social institution; where men and women can come and mingle and engage each other in courtship and conversations. This also leads to the rise of literary and political and social clubs, and in the midst of this, these coffee houses were the centers of such dynamic social activities.

And 300 years down the line, this notion of coffee houses has evolved into café, and in all honesty, the café has carried on the legacy of coffee houses with little to no changes in the essence of it. so, café, like the coffee houses of 18th century England provide a brilliant space for social interaction.
