Django is one of the most documented frameworks around. They top the number of questions on StackOverflow. So, Django is always good to learn.
But I suggest you not to go classes. It is pointless to go for classes when you have such a rich source of knowledge online. Codecademy will teach you the basics of Python. The Django documentation itself is well written with a sample app tutorial. You need not spend any money on classes.
Plus, learning on your own will help with retention. Since there is no spoon-feeding involved, you will learn from your mistakes a lot more than you would do in a class.
