What size card sleeve do I buy?

With all the differently sized trading card games(TCGs) and board games out there you might find yourself wondering, what size card sleeve do I buy? Standard size? Japanese size? Something else? The size card sleeve you need will depend entirely upon which TCG or board game you need the card sleeves for.

There are generally two sizes of card sleeves available, Standard Size and Japanese Size.

If you play Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, Digimon or other Standard size TCGs then you’ll need Standard Size Card Sleeves. Standard sized cards are cards that measure 63 x 88mm (2½ x 3½’’).

If you play Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight! Vanguard or other Japanese size TCGs then you’ll need Japanese Size Card Sleeves. Japanese size cards are cards that measure 59 x 86mm (2¼ x 3¼’’).
