List of Some Easy Methods to Prepare for Engineering Entrance Tests

Preparing for Engineering Entrance Examinations is conceivably one of the most preferred courses in India and among the hardest. In any case, pupils make a decent attempt to traverse the various Engineering tests (JEE - Main and Advanced, WBJEE, etc) which are directed for admission to top engineering schools all over India.

Not everyone gets the chance to study in the Institutions like IIT, but it is worth the effort. Many students join premier classes for JEE and WBJEE preparation to get a decent ranking in these examinations.

But, it is not very easy and enough if students are studying from some of the premier institutes to crack Engineering tests. They need to study and practice hard in every syllabus subject with utmost dedication and stick to it.

In this blog, I will provide you with some tips about “how to prepare for India’s premium Engineering Entrance Examinations.” I know that every student has a curriculum and methods that suit their learning process. Hence, they are advised to do modifications as they wish to.

  • Create an appropriate Study Schedule

Most importantly is that you make a study schedule and stick to it. The thing with making a legitimate timetable is that you will have a careful thought of what you are needed to examine and the time needed for it. You will be needed to place in six to eight hours (at least) of study time, daily.

It is ideal to cover this time with breaks so that you never get stressed. We will advise you to read for an hour and take a brief break of 15 minutes. It will refresh your mood and provide you a chance to remember your lessons, more profoundly.

  • Clear the Concepts, Don’t fall for the notes

 Study

You need to have clear concepts of the subjects and syllabuses. Get a clear idea of the concepts and formulas and learn them carefully. You may have cleared your school examinations with the help of study notes provided by your home tuition teachers.

But, JEE and WBJEE examinations are very much different than those traditional tests. Relying alone on the study notes will not help you in getting desired results. You must have the basic concepts in your subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Math.

You can make your notes when studying. It will help you to cover each subject and cover the whole topic. Create a list of important notes containing formulas and theories. Having a look at these notes regularly will brush up on your studies and help you to evaluate yourself.

  • Go with Supervision, seek Guidance

Guidance is always important when you are preparing yourself for JEE-like entrance examinations. It is not possible to know all about the subjects, syllabus, and curriculum. This is why we needed private tutors to make better results.

Hence, students are joining Aakash, Allen, Resonance-like institutes for JEE preparation courses in both online and offline modes. Some of them are getting excellent rankings in the Engineering Entrance examinations and fulfilling their dreams.

  • Study Test Papers

 Mock test

It will be very helpful to the students who study the test papers from the previous year's examinations. It will be much better if they can follow and study question papers from multiple Engineering Entrance Examinations like the WBJEE, CET, BITSAT, VITEE, and so on.

  • Mock tests and Time Management

Mock Tests or practice papers are a set of questions that are arranged simply based on the latest test model and timetable of the different evaluations. It can make the students feel like the real examination scenario so that they can be accustomed to the test and questions.

Practicing mock tests also helps the students to manage their time. Time management is very important to get success in JEE-like examinations. Through multiple mock tests, students can check their mock score and rate of improvement. They will understand how much time they should spend on answering each question.
