STROMA Films were commissioned by The Dalmore whisky distillery and V&A Museum of Design in Dundee to create a short film to celebrate the beginning of their new partnership.
Our film, Decades in the Making explores creative inspiration and the development of potential over time, coinciding with seminal career moments for Architect Kengo Kuma and Master Distiller Richard Paterson.
STROMA FilmsWith so many hours of content produced over the years and only a very small amount of time in which to present it, we’d be lying if we said the challenge of producing this showreel project was easy.“But hang on!” I hear you say, “Isn’t producing short form narratives in an online format what you specialise in?”Absolutely.
It’s something that we do day in, day out.
However, the difference here is that the films in our portfolio have been made for somebody else, to a very particular brief when, ultimately, what we needed was for the same films to tell our own story.Learn more about STROMA Films, how they created their showreel and how they can help you promote your services, business, or products with their award-winning video production skills.
Over 100 years of craftsmanship go into making Scotland's Favourite Whisky.
The Famous Grouse is a perfectly balanced blend of the finest malts and exceptional grain whiskies; expertly blended and carefully matured in Seasoned Oak casks.
Generally speaking, Grain whiskies are whiskies made from grains other than malted barley like rye, corn, or wheat.
Most whiskies made in America or Canada are of this type.Grain Whiskies often tend to be sidelined by so-called whisky enthusiasts as they don’t consider it exceedingly tasty or rich.
These whiskies can be very characteristic and full of flavor.
Depending on what your taste buds dictate, you can choose to drink any of these, or better yet, all as long as you’re giving grains a chance!Single Grain WhiskySingle grain whisky is often confusingly believed to contain only one grain.
So these whiskies are made from one distillery and contain any grains except for malted barley because that would make it single malt. The variation of even a grain can result in a significant distinction in taste even in the same whisky category.
If you’re a newcomer to the whisky world, these whiskies are the perfect beginners as they have sweet flavors generally complemented with cereal-ly notes and caramel tones so they slide smoothly through the throat and are best if you don’t enjoy overly smoky or intense flavors on your tongue.Grain Scotch WhiskyGrain scotch whisky is another stellar drink to enjoy on its own or in cocktails.
