Cheapest Places to Get Dental Implants

For any dental patient, oral implants are an ideal choice for replacement teeth. They are the closest thing to natural teeth and are life-changing in impacting one's ability to eat, enjoy food and speak properly without the need for dentures or other less effective means of treatment.

However, not all people can afford them because they are so expensive. The following is a list that tries to answer where the cheapest places to get dental implants are?

India

"India has emerged as one of the most popular places for Dental treatments" due to its lower prices compared with western countries. Similarly, Dentistry in India claims that patients can save up to 80% at Indian dental clinics compared with prices in Australia and Britain.

Mexico

Due to its high demand, there is a good supply of dental professionals, and "Dentists from US and Canada fly down to Mexico for various treatments." Here they can save up to 50% on the cost of implants. An ExploreTraveler Blog claims that prices in Mexican clinics are very low because parts are commonly used which have been sterilized since being taken out of somebody's mouth before being transplanted into somebody else. The blog also states this as a possible reason why dental tourism has boomed so much recently. However, it does mention that prices may vary depending on the clinic.

Brazil

A common theme among several sources is that Brazil is one country where people can get cheap dental implants. The blog, Your Daily Travel says that it's possible to save up to 50% on the cost of dental work in Brazil. This compares with prices around $7000- $8000 for a full set of implants in the US and UK. It also states that there are many clinics available where your only worry is choosing which one you like best since their quality is more or less the same. However, some blogs mention that finding good dentists who do good work can be difficult because some Brazilian dentists may not be as qualified as those found elsewhere.

Singapore

The International Business Times reports that "Singapore ranked number 4 among cities where dental tourism was most popular". A and His Blog claims that compared to US and Canada, the prices in Singapore are very low. This is because of how competitive rates can be found there, thanks to so many dentists offering their work. However, the price you pay depends on things such as the dentist's experience and the clinic's facilities.

Croatia

According to Dental Tourism Magazine, "Croatia has become a popular location for dental tourism due to its high-quality service at affordable rates." A Croatian Dentist Blog claims that prices vary depending on which part of Croatia you choose to go to; it also mentions that people who live close by (in Bosnia and Herzegovina) sometimes come over for treatment as well. Dental implants cost around $2,500 in Croatia based on research done by one patient.

Thailand

A couple of blogs mention that it may be a good idea to combine dental tourism in these two countries, for example, Your Daily Travel. The reason is that Mexico has one of the highest standards for dental implants. In contrast, Thailand is very popular because its other treatments are cheaper than those found in many western countries. However, some other blogs list the prices at a few clinics based on what was advertised on their websites, so it's possible they might not be accurate. But if you spend some time looking around yourself, you should have no problem finding lower rates than those stated online at least.

Canada

One post from this blog claims that going for cheap dental work does not always mean you have to go abroad, and Canada is where it recommends. Prices here are much cheaper than prices in the US which means that implants cost half as much as they do there - around $3,500 (with the average implant costing $700). Furthermore, the quality of work can be just as good if not better; this is thanks to dentists who train at places such as the University of Toronto Dental School, which has a worldwide reputation for excellence. The post also suggests that Canadians like their own country's hospitals since they're modern and pleasant with 24-hour care available.

UAE

Several posts mention UAE as an affordable location for dental implants since Dubai has one of the most competitive prices out there. For example, Dentistry in Dubai reports that you can get dental implants in dubai starting at only AED 5,000.00 to AED 13,000.00. This means costs are around 20 - 30% of what it would be in the US or UK. Furthermore, the price for this procedure is fixed, so you don't have to worry about hidden charges since this is done by law in UAE. The reports also claims that even if you need something repaired while on holiday there, prices are still low compared to other countries because dentists work quickly and efficiently without making unnecessary movements or tests.

Poland

The Dentist Blog lists dentists who provide high-quality dental implants but charge very little money for their services (under $4000). This price usually includes everything such as consultation, pre-surgery tests and post-surgery care. Furthermore, people who live in Poland may get the entire procedure done for less since they pay around $500 for medical insurance each month. Upon arriving home after their implant surgery, they receive a reimbursement of at least $1000 from their insurer, covering all or most of the overall cost.

In addition to these places, there are many other countries where you can find low rates, so it's best to do some research before committing yourself to a location just because its name is mentioned on the blog.
