Apart from using routerlogin.net to connect to your Netgear WiFi router, you can also use the default IP – 192.168.1.250 In other words, the default Netgear_ext SSID acts as a portal for WiFi-enabled devices to access the internet. The default IP of a router varies from model to mode. For example, some Netgear routers would have 192.168.1.1 as their default IP, whereas some would have 192.168.1.0, 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.254, etc as theirs. So, if you want to log into your WiFi device using the default router login IP, cross-check from the user manual first.
Netgear Extender Setup, firstly turn on the netgear range extender plugging into electrical outlet, connect the extender with wifi device.
Thereafter, launch the network manager and connect to netgear_ext SSID.
Then open any web portal and navigate to the default mywifiext login web page.
Choose the network you want and then click on last button.
