The UPSC CSE  exam requires three steps to qualify.

  • preliminary examination 
  • main’s examination
  • personality test or personal interview 

preliminary includes history, politics, geography, science, technology, and environment-related topics. The winners of the Main Examination will be selected for the post of IAS Officer.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates should have passed Bachelor Degree.
  • candidates must  be between 21 years to 32 years.
  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Syllabus for UPSC CSE are Objective Type, Descriptive Type, Personality Test.
  • The admission card will be issued a few weeks before the exam in UPSE CSE official website.
  • The result will be uploaded on their official Website.

 

Highlights:

  • Mode: UPSC CSE will be led Offline for example Paper and Pen-based Test
  • There will be two preliminary papers and seven main papers in the UPSC CSE.
  • The Preliminary paper consists of 200 marks out of 400, and the Mains paper has 1750 marks.
  • There will be objective inquiries in the primer test and emotional inquiries in the main test
  • The Mains test will be completed in 3 hours versus 2 hours for the Preliminary test
