I don't recommend using an impact i would go to a drill just because you know if you strip one of these out it's really hard to get out there you know you can you know put your drill around the actual bit here's a little tip if you guys are ever wondering how to get a screw out you can close your chuck around this and then you can reverse the screw out that's just a little tip little trick uh if you if you screwed up your head other than that you know let's take a look see how they go on the board they are just screws so it's not going to be anything fancy but um we'll use a drill here whoops and we'll put in this two and a half inch as you can see really nice and small i really really like them now we'll use the 12 volt impact and we'll use another same screw see didn't even gauge the impact it's just because the chisel point on this really really helps with there's a little bit of impact right there because Outdoor Screws i went faster the chisel point really really helps with clearing that wood out of the way so you get a really really nice hole your wood doesn't split and it's just an awesome design.
I've really really switched over to almost greeks for everything I do especially if I鈥檓 using screws for attaching you know the framework I use girls all the time I鈥檓 never using just those you know brown coated screws or whatever they're really really not meant for that you know they're so skinny they snap so fast the grk structural screws I can't say enough and we'll make another about that but as far as the trim head goes can't say enough good things guys pretty awesome I鈥檇 love to hear what you think about the grk they have different um different uses here this one's the rt composite and then we've got the fine trim they're saying the rt composite that's more for your composite boards for PVC stuff like that and then this is more for just your everyday type of trim so.
