BHMCT course [Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology] is a four-year professional course for undergraduates provided by numerous colleges and universities in India. It is specifically made for students who are eager to work in the hospitality sector. 


Syllabus

The syllabus of the BHMCT course includes subjects in the topics of housekeeping operations, food production, communication fundamentals, catering services, basic accounting, accommodation operations, principles of management, and travel and tourism. 

The qualified candidates who apply for the course are expected to pass the Class XII exams. Admissions are either merit-based [class XII marks] or based on the CET [common entrance test] of universities. 


Fee

The fee charged by universities or top colleges in Jaipur might range from Rs. 2.5 - 5 Lakhs.  The government college and private college fees are completely different. 

A fresh graduate can anticipate a salary that ranges from 2-5 Lakhs per annum. After course completion, the student can look for jobs in the hotel industry and also in several other sectors such as airlines, tourism, cruise ships, food craft institutes, etc.

Admission

Typically, the procedure of admission starts as soon as the results of Class XII are announced. The majority of universities or top colleges in Jaipur depend on the marks in this exam to offer admission to the students. When it comes to entrance tests, the student has to clear the least cut-off to be eligible for the respective exam of a particular university/college. The colleges will declare the results and provide a list of students who are selected for group discussion and an interview.
