Security Holograms are three-dimensional photographic images that appear to have depth. They're superimpositions of two-dimensional surfaces that show absolutely precise, three-dimensional images of real objects. When soaked in light, the hologram gives a different view of the image from different angles.
A hologram is printed onto a set of ultra-thin curved silver plates, which are made to diffract light. When the beam hits the silver plate, the reflections diffract into each specific color, creating two offset images made up of a combination of colors that reflect the image of the original object. This results in the formation of 3D images that are known as Holograms. It basically comprises interference patterns between the two images.
