The Indian Express has reported that Justice Rajesh Bindal, the Acting Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court who was embroiled in the stalemate between the Trinamool Congress and the Centre during West Bengal elections, is going to be named as Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.According to sources of Indian Express, the Supreme Court collegium made this critical decision Thursday evening.Currently Justice M.N Bhandari is the Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad HC, after retirement of Justice Sanjay Yadav as Chief Justice.Although the collegium led by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana has not officially publicised these decisions.On April 29, Justice Bindal was appointed as the acting Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, just before voting of Assembly Election in West Bengal was completed.

According to a Business Today report, Rahul Gandhi had 65% equity in the company that was incorporated in 2003 and wound up in 2009.

As per the report, French company Naval Group had signed a contract with Indian firm Flash Forge Private Limited to supply critical parts of Scorpene submarines.

Rupiah - The rupiah exchange rate at market open this morning, Wednesday (4/12) rose by 0.04% to a level of Usd 14.110 per dollar United States (U.S.).
However, shortly after it opened, the rupiah fell immediately to the level of Usd 14.120 per US dollar, due to the depressed global sentiment, as U.S. trade with China continues unabated until the conflict is Trump with other countries.
According to Bloomberg, the Singapore dollar fell to 0.04%, Taiwan dollar 0.07 percent, South Korean won 0.56 percent, the Philippine peso 0,22%, Indian rupee by 0.03%, the Chinese yuan, of 0.31%, the Malaysian ringgit 0.13 percent, and the Thai baht by 0.07%.
While the Japanese yen gained 0.12 percent followed by the strengthening of the Hong Kong dollar by 0.01%.
Vice President of Monex Investindo Futures Ariston Tjendra stated, the rupiah still has the potential to return depressed today.
"Especially because the market worries about completion of a trade war US-China and the emergence of the problem a new trade AS with other countries," says Tjendra to katadata.co.id, Wednesday (4/12).
