Vivo V20 Pro 5G: five cameras and 5G for the most ambitious mid-range of the V series

Vivo is defining some design lines in its mid-range in a way that it is able to differentiate it so that mobile of its own can be identified at a glance at the back. The last cobblestone on this path is the new Vivo V20 Pro 5G, which, as its name anticipates, Vivo y20 price in pakistan comes to complete the offer compatible with this network that the brand already offers.

It is a mid-range mobile that has this compatibility by incorporating the Snapdragon 765G, which is, in turn, the main difference from the Vivo V20. Although we will see that there are some more changes, maintaining the thinness for which its brother with 4G already stood out.

A front that is different, but not because it is new

Although we also saw a Vivo V20 SE, speaking of that aesthetic that we mentioned at the beginning, the new Vivo V20 Pro 5G is more reminiscent of the Vivo X51 5G than the SE. It has a matte finish back and a squarer module, with the double finish that we saw on the X51 and just as prominent.

In fact, this protuberance stands out as it is such a thin mobile, only 7.39 millimeters thick. It is also light when talking about mobiles with a screen of almost 6.4 inches as we will now see, with 170 grams of weight, although as you might think the battery is not one of the largest we see today.

On the front, something is striking: a notch that is not like the ones we usually see in the shape of a drop or "U", but wider. The explanation: we do not see an advanced facial recognition system, it is about two front cameras that we do not see peeking out of holes such as in the Huawei P40 Pro.

Speaking of the screen, it is a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD + resolution, thus being up to the value of the most ambitious mid-range mobiles and even quite a few high-end mobiles. This screen includes the fingerprint reader, which, as you might think, is not on the thin side or on the back.

5G and five rear cameras

The V series, like the X, V focuses above all on design and seeks to differentiate itself from what would be a more standard mid-range at a technological level, encompassing mid-range and high-end mobiles (in China the manufacturer unifies them in the X line ). We will see that in this case, the focus is on the cameras, but including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G is also a differential point within the V.

The Vivo V20 Pro incorporates 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage as a single option. It does not have an audio minijack but it does have a fast charge at 33 W for a 4,000 mAh battery, which, as we anticipated, does not stand out in today's mobile phones with up to 7,000 mAh (bulkier and heavier).

But let's talk about your cameras. There is a curious combination in the Vivo V20 Pro bet combining "the usual" in an atypical way. Let's look at his five lenses in total :

Main camera: 64-megapixel sensor with f/1.89 aperture lens.

Multiple cameras: it is an 8-megapixel sensor with a lens that acts as a wide-angle, macro, or lens for portrait mode.

2-megapixel monochrome sensor.

Dual front camera: 44-megapixel sensor and a wide-angle 8-megapixel sensor. The main one also has autofocus on the subject's eye and a special mode for night portraits.

Vivo's approach with these multiple cameras is not entirely new, since we have seen several phones that incorporate a macro mode taking advantage of the wide-angle, such as the OnePlus 8 Pro or the OPPO Reno4 Pro. Something that makes sense and that in a way teaches a lesson to the current trend of introducing a macro lens perhaps as a filler to have three or four rear cameras (without investing too much).

What is not so logical is that the term "hybrid zoom" is used in the rear camera module, which can lead to confusion. This term usually describes the combination of optical and digital zoom as an intermediate option between one and the other (to improve the result of digital alone), and here we do not see any telephoto lens.

Versions and prices of the Vivo V20 Pro

The Vivo V20 Pro has been presented for the moment in India. The starting price is about 390 euros to change (34,999 rupees), although the manufacturer has launched it with an initial offer of about 335 euros to change (29,990 rupees).

As we have mentioned, Vivo v20 price in Pakistan there is a single version in the question of memories with 8 GB of RAM and 128u GB of storage. And it is available in the colors black and blue.
