Steps to setup Netgear AC2600 Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router


  • Plug out all the wires connecting the modem to your system.
  • Connect the Power Adapter of the modem to an available power switch. Make sure the power switch to which you are connected to the router is at enough distance from which your router could receive an ideal amount of Wi-Fi signal.
  • Now, use an Ethernet Cable to connect your modem to the router. Connect one end to the modem to the computer in which you are going to operate the Internet and the other end to the yellow internet port of the router.
  • Take an Ethernet cable and make a connection between your system and the router. Connect one end of your cable to the computer and another end into the LAN ports of the router.
  • Plugin the power adapter of your Netgear router to the Power outlet.
  • Now, you have to press the power button located on the rear panel of the device. As soon as the power LED of your router gets solid green, your router will get successfully turned on. Until or unless the Power LED of your router doesn’t turn on, you won’t be able to operate your Netgear Router.

Note: Before performing the Netgear Router setup process, a user has to make sure that he has all the prerequisites that are required during the setup process. Choose an ideal spot for your router to allow your device to receive sufficient Wi-Fi signals.
