Before Covid, everything was offline or physical. Rarely few centers have an online mode. We can say that the digital world was just a reel, not real. But the scenario changed. After the pandemic, everything went to online mode. From physical market to digital market, offline classes to online classes. And then comes the merits and demerits.
The debatable issue is whether it is good to have online classes of IAS rather than offline. Well, both have their perks. The main points are discussed as under-
- Online classes- Mostly students do not understand in online classes or they are not attentive, secondly, personal attention is also not given to them. Somewhere it is tiresome for both the students and teachers to look at the computer screen for hours. Whereas in the case of offline, doubts can easily be cleared, personal attention is given to students and it is not that tiresome.
- Group Study- In online mode, it gets difficult for students to sit together and discuss their doubts and other things, whereas this is not the case offline.
- Interaction- In online mode, there is less interaction with the educator because due to less knowledge of technical or operating of online classes, many students get least noticed and they barely are interested in what the teacher is studying, so there is less interaction. Whereas, in offline mode, the teacher knows about their students and their doubts, so more interaction.
- Test series- In the case of offline, test series are taken seriously, as well the mock interview. Whereas, in online mode, students browse the net and cheat and don’t solve or take test series sincerely. Moreover, the mock interviews are not conducted online.
Conclusion
Even Though there are pros and cons of both the modes, still for IAS one should prefer the offline one, the reason being it is one of the toughest exams and needs to be taken seriously. Offline IAS coaching guides and trains the pupil's many valuable things like- self-discipline, regularity, no distractions which are relevant to crack the IAS, so in my opinion go offline.
