Click fraud is the process of clicking on ads to collect revenue, not to visit a site and certainly not to stay and purchase. Click fraud is generally undertaken by publishers or their cohorts with the intent to increase their revenue.


There have also been instances where competitors have arranged to click on ads. Their aim is to use up your advertising budget with useless click thereby reducing your sales.
