When can we expect it in Nigeria?
Initially released on October 10, 2018, MediaTek promises that all phones released with their chip will come with a download speed of up to 2 Gbps. That's fast enough to download a full HD movie in just five seconds. Still, don't expect 4G speed at launch. Although there are regions that have been lit up for 3.5 GHz and 28 GHz bands already, it might be 2019 or later before countries outside of China start using these frequencies for mobile data. But if you were looking forward to downloading your favorite apps and games at lightning-fast speeds and watching video while doing other things (like driving), these would be major steps forward.
Where should you buy phones like this
When it comes to where you should buy a phone, price shouldn't be your only concern. Do your research and go to an authorized retailer or carrier when buying a phone. Sometimes looking into purchasing a used phone can be risky. It's always better to buy phones that are still under warranty. You can ask around and see if anyone has one they would like to sell or check online classified ads. Remember to carefully prevent sites like eBay and Craigslist before doing business with someone you don't know well. Find out how long they have been selling phones online and see if they carry positive feedback from previous buyers.
