Whitening
In-office whitening involves the application of bleaching solutions to the teeth and the use of high-intensity light to speed the process. Teeth can often be whitened in one or two one-hour sessions. There are also in-home whitening kits available. We make custom bleaching trays based on simple impressions. After that, patients apply a bleaching solution to their teeth and wear the trays for 30 to 60 minutes per day for two to three weeks on average.
Composite Resin Restorations
Other than silver amalgam, modern adhesive dentistry offers a variety of restorative materials. Strong, attractive, and wear-resistant restorations are now possible with tooth-colored materials. These materials are fused to existing tooth structures, thus "gluing" the tooth's walls together and strengthening it. In contrast, silver amalgam expands and contracts in the tooth which can cause "leakage" of the filling, recurrent decay, and actual fracture of the tooth. Composite Resin Inlays & Onlays
We now have the ability to replace large unsightly silver fillings and restore teeth with large cavities with strong tooth-colored restorations that are very esthetic and natural-looking. This is a more conservative way of treating teeth than with crowns. Onlays are bonded to the teeth and blend so well that one cannot differentiate the tooth from the restoration.
Cosmetic Porcelain Crowns
A crown is a restoration that covers or caps a tooth to restore the normal size and shape of the tooth. Following treatment, a crown gives strength to a tooth and protects a badly decayed tooth from fracture. We can now construct an all-porcelain crown for either the front or back of the mouth when a crown is required. All-porcelain crowns have the advantage of providing the most attractive, natural-looking aesthetics available. These crowns include no metal, giving them a more natural, lifelike appearance.

Cosmetic bonding and porcelain veneers can be used to change the appearance of a smile. Chips can be repaired, voids can be closed, discolorations can be removed, colors can be changed, and teeth can be reshaped. These techniques need very little, if any, tooth enamel removal. Dental Implants
We were limited in our abilities to repair missing teeth prior to the availability of dental implants. Fixed bridges, which often necessitate the reduction of healthy teeth to replace a lost tooth, and removable prosthetics were among our possibilities. Individual teeth can be replaced with implants without affecting nearby natural teeth. People who are wearing full or partial dentures can now replace these with non-removable appliances or lock a denture into place to provide greatly enhanced chewing ability and comfort.
Fixed Bridge
A fixed bridge replaces one or more natural teeth that have been lost. It cannot be removed by the patient. It is cemented into place and firmly bonded to the adjacent prepared natural teeth. Porcelain fused to precious metal or complete porcelain without any metal can be utilized for the fixed bridge.
