Upgradable and extensible
Since GA version, Spartacus provides almost all of the pages and components to be feature parity with our B2C Fender (B2B Accelerator is on its way and planned to be delivered before the end of the year).
Involving course, you can add components or design new ones. By design, Spartacus is modular and intensive so that you can consistently upgrade and benefits associated with the latest version of components.
SAP Spartacus course is grouped together as Angular your local library while we present new features or fixes, you can take good things about them right away. Of This is why we don't recommend that you fork the Spartacus project or copy/paste the source code if you want to build a new storefront but you create a new Angular app set up and add dependencies to Spartacus in your local library. Patch and slight release of Spartacus probably should not breakability and we don't plan any new major release before the end of the year so changing to the new libraries should not cause any problem with your store app.

Written content for Spartacus internet pages is fetched from the SAP Trade CMS so Written content Managers can alter page content through the CMS tools.
Since the GA release, SmartEdit is totally supported and merged with Spartacus to provide relevant and personal experience including a preview of the site as it can appear to customers at future date ranges.
Theoretically, you could even use Spartacus and Commerce with a third-party CMS. I would wish to see some experiments by the community on this theme, for example with Adobe Experience Administrator or WordPress.
Supported by our Cloud Automation Engine
From our SAP Commerce Fog up Portal, you can deploy Spartacus on our cloud system. Indeed since Drive, our Cloud Motorisation engine supports the deployment of JavaScript storefronts that can be built on their own of the Trade platform and implemented on dedicated systems.
In addition to this, the Motorisation Engine will support very soon SSR (server-side rendering) so web crawlers can actively browse your website. This feature is a NECESSARY for good SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION and high look for engine rankings with SPA (Single Site Application).
