It doesn't matter if you are a seasoned blusher or a novice to the world of blush, blush has a powerful effect. A little bit of blush can instantly lift your mood and make you look more awake. Even if you have lost your desire to spend time outside, Wayne Goss has created The Weightless Veil Blush Palette that will help you look like you are doing it. Here are Wayne's tips for creating a healthy glow from these versatile cheek duos, even if you have spent the past week watching Netflix on your couch.
Blush Only
Wayne suggests using a powder brush to apply blush color. Start by blending color into your cheeks. Next, work your way up towards the temples. Or you can apply the color wherever you like. You can add more blush layers to make it bolder, or you can keep it natural.
Wayne's tip - After applying blush to your cheeks, sweep any pigment from your brush along your hairline for a monochromatic, all-over look.
Blush + Highlighter
This palette is easy to use to give your skin a glow, or leave it off. Wayne loves to add shimmer to the cheek colors by dusting the highlighter shade over the blush. Use a tapered powder brush for highlighting the highest points of your face like your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, cupid's bow and browbone. Layer until you achieve the perfect glow.
Wayne's tip - Use your fingertip to apply highlighter to the eyelids and inner corners of the eyes. This will give you a youthful, open effect.
Highlighter + Blush
Wayne's favorite tip for adding a natural glow to your skin is this. Use a fluffy powder brush for applying highlighter to your cheeks. Next, use a fluffy powder brush to apply highlighter all over your cheeks. Use the blush shade as a brush and lightly dust it on top. The highlighter's shimmer will be absorbed into your skin creating a subtle glow that seems to radiate from the inside. You can add another layer of blush or more! If you like a more intense color, add another layer of blush.
Wayne's tip : These highlighters look amazing on the body and the pans can be used for large brushes. For a radiant glow, dust lightly over the collarbones, shoulders and all exposed skin.
