‘Seekho Aur Kamao’ scheme seeks to uplift the growth, well-being, and welfare of notified minority communities - Buddhists, Christians, Jains, Muslims, Parsis, & Sikhs. The scheme touches upon the formulation of overall policy and planning, coordination, evaluation, & review of the regulatory framework and development programmes that enables minority communities to learn new skills and earn decent livelihoods that enriches their lives. By integrating disadvantaged minority sections, the scheme urges them to SEEKHO and KAMAO basic minimum wages that uplifts their honor and dignity.
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Kendra scheme seeks to establish state-of-the-art training centers across rural and semi-urban areas of India with skill development courses. The courses intend to equip existing or probable employable youth with vocational skills that earn recognition; ensure a better livelihood; & transform India into the skill capital of the world. Under the scheme, the training centers will be set-up; & training & assessment fees paid for by the Government; & placement assistance provided for to help each employable youth get a decent job.
