Everest Base Camp Track is one of the best hiking destinations in the world. It's become more popular among mountain lovers after setting off the epic journey to Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in the 1950s. Everest Base Camp Track is the perfect way to explore Mother Nature, Himalayan scenery in the UNESCO World heritage site Sagarmatha National Park, Highlander's livelihood, and Sherpa’s tradition, which have been carried out for centuries. Everest Base Camp Track embarks at Tenzing Hillary Airport at Luka after a short scenic flight from the capital city Kathmandu and follows the Bank of Dudh Koshi River with charming Sherpa settlements, Buddhist Chorten, Wall painting, and the towering peaks of Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru before getting in Namche Bazaar. The trail ascends steeply to the Namche Bazaar after the cross-Hillary suspension bridge at the confluence of Dhudha Koshi and Bhote Koshi. Namche Bazaar (Weekly market fair Every Saturday, Ancient trading Hub & Gateway of Mt. Everest) itself is an amazing place to pass a day easily visit the Sherpa Museum, Sagarmatha Tourist Information Center, monastery, and hang around the town, but for good acclimatization propose, visit the Everest view hotel with panoramic view and charming Khumjung Village (Yeti Scalp) and then back to Namche through the Syangboche Airport. Afterward, heading to Everest Base Camp through the Buddhist sacred site Tengboche (name as Dawa Choling Gomba, the largest monastery of Khumbu), Pangboche (last settlement for the EBC), Dingboche with significant Himalayan vista. During the acclimatization day at Dingboche, will visit Nangkartshang Peak (5,615m) with a wonderful view of the 4th highest mountain in the world Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), the 5th highest mountain in the world Mt. Makalu (8,485m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,188m) the sixth-highest mountain in the world and Island Peak (6,189m), Amadablam (6,812m), Kangtega (6,782m), Thamserku (6,623m), Taboche (6,542m), Cholatse (6,440m), etc. After two days walk from Dingboche we will visit the Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,360m) via Lobuche, Gorakshep, and climb to the most popular viewpoint Kala Patthar (5,555) for the best scenery of Mt. Everest, Nuptse (7,861m), Pumori (7,161m) at stone throwing distance. Khumbu Glacier, Icefall, and Everest Base Camp itself is a key attraction of EBC Track and Kalapathar offers wonderful snow-capped Mountain View surrounded by you. The sunset view from Kalapattar is best for the adventurous, and passionate with a colorful Everest view, but one needs to well prepare with a warm cloth and walk down in the dark night.
