The trek to Everest Base Camp is one of the best-hiking destinations in the world. It has grown in popularity among mountaineers since Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa embarked on the epic journey to Mt. Everest in the 1950s. The Everest Base Camp Trek is an ideal way to explore Mother Nature's Himalayan scenery in the UNESCO World Heritage site Sagarmatha National Park, Highlander's livelihood, and Sherpa tradition, which have been carried out for centuries. This trekking offers breathtaking views of four of the world's highest mountains, including Mt. Everest. The view of "Mt. Everest (8,848m)" from the most popular viewpoint Kala Patthar is spectacular.

Other remarkable sites of your lifetime Everest Base Camp trek include Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,360m), Khumbu Glacier, and Khumbu Icefall.

After a short scenic flight from Kathmandu, the Everest Base Camp trek departs from Tenzing Hillary Airport in Luka and follows the bank of the Dudh Koshi River with charming Sherpa settlements, Buddhist Chorten, Wall painting, and the towering peaks of Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru before arriving in Namche Bazaar. Following the cross-Hillary suspension bridge at the confluence of Dhudha Koshi and Bhote Koshi, the trail ascends steeply to Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar is a weekly market fair held in Namche, Nepal. Every Saturday, Ancient Trading Hub & Gateway to Mt. Everest) is an amazing place to spend a day easily visiting the Sherpa Museum, Sagarmatha Tourist Information Center, monastery, and hanging around town, but for good acclimatization propose, visit the Everest view hotel with panoramic view and charming Khumjung Village (Yeti Scalp) and then back to Namche via the Syangboche Airport.

Following that, travel to Everest Base Camp via the Buddhist sacred sites of Tengboche (also known as Dawa Choling Gomba, Khumbu's largest monastery), Pangboche (the last settlement for the EBC), and Dingboche, which offers spectacular Himalayan views.
