Australia offers various types of work visas. They are valid for either a limited duration or unlimited. Attractive remuneration and a high-quality lifestyle attract overseas workers to Australia. The country offers several flexible work visa plans so that more skilled workers can come down and contribute an important role to the country’s economy. The article addresses two popular visas and how different they are from each other.

Similarities

TSS and Employer Nomination Scheme are related to each other at several points. They are work visas for Australia. They give skilled workers the opportunity to work in Australia in various fields. The labor agreement stream is a common visa stream for them where employers need a labor agreement to hire overseas skilled workers.

These visas need a nomination for workers by Australian employers. Only skilled workers with work experience in a field can apply for a visa. They demand work experience, however, the duration of the experience can vary.

Several applicants who apply for these visas need a positive skill assessment. It shows that they have the skills required for a particular job profile.

Applicants have to clear their health and character requirements. According to this, applicants must not be suffering from a disease that is spreadable. The character certificate must not have a history of conviction or has no legal issue at present.

These visas are applicable for those applicants whose occupations are on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.

Differences

A TSS visa is a provisional visa for Australia. It allows skilled workers to work and live in Australia for a limited duration. During that time, they can apply for PR. It is an advantage of the visa.

An Employer Nomination Scheme Visa allows skilled workers to live, work, and study in the country forever. It is a permanent visa

The cost of applying for an ENS visa is higher than that of a TSS visa. However, an ENS visa is available with the benefit of staying in the country forever. Therefore, it is one time a big investment.

The ENS Direct Entry visa needs applicants a license or registration as a member of a professional body if the state or territory needs it.
