When choosing the mother of the bride dresses, season, formality and a whole host of other factors need to be taken into account.
Whether or not the mother of the bride dresses matches the big event apparel is entirely a matter of discretion for the bride.Whilst some brides opt to have both the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom match the bridesmaids, modern wedding etiquette dictates that brides now allow their mothers to decide on their own apparel.
For something less formal, you might want to decide on a shorter dress.
The bride may express a preference for the mother of the bride to go through the formality and style of the wedding, in addition to at least coordinate the colour of her outfit to complement all of those other wedding parties.Shopping, ordering and fitting your mother of the brides dress normally takes just as long to order and fit as the bride's dress, if not even longer!
