The main application for black silicon carbide is as a recyclable abrasive. Alumina is frequently used in blasting processes when it is prohibited to have iron contamination on non-ferrous metal substrates because of its low iron content. Swift-cleaning aluminum oxide is abrasive and is very hard and sharp. It is also used for refractory purposes, polishing, grinding, and ceramic grinding wheels.
In electric arc furnaces, high-quality bauxites are reduced fused to produce brown fused alumina. It is an excellent abrasive grain for uses including grinding wheels, sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation, lapping, and polishing because of its great strength, hardness, and robustness.
It is an excellent raw material for refractory applications because of its thermal characteristics. This product can be used to create refractory materials such as firebrick and castable by ramming various materials, charges, abrasives, sandblasting, grinding, and polishing.
It is used to make molds for washed jeans, copper profiles, aluminum profiles, and glass. The optimal sandblasting material for "environmental protection" has a high packing density, no free silicon dioxide, a substantial ratio, and strong toughness. It also has a mild abrasive hardness.
Advanced domestic grinding materials for free grinding, such as kineshoon, optical glass, monocrystalline silicon, lenses, clock glass, crystal glass, jade, require grinding grade abrasives and other materials;
Black silicon carbide is a low-cost method and process that can greatly improve the effectiveness of the abrasive. The plated brown corundum grains are made consistently by mixing red iron oxide with a ceramic binder, and they are then uniformly covered by high-pressure spraying equipment. When used with resin abrasives, the effect is excellent because the abrasives have the proper color, good hardness, toughness, appropriate particle section type, and degree of maintaining cutting edges;
Examples of black silicon include sandpaper, gauze, and other producers of production raw materials. Functional packaging is mostly employed in the production of automobile brake components, specialized tyres, specialty building materials, etc.; it can also be used to pave highways.
As the bottom medium of filter beds for the purification of drinking water or wastewater as well as for water filtration materials, granular abrasives are used both domestically and globally. These materials are especially well suited for non-ferrous metal dressing, such as weighting agents in oil drilling mud.
Abrasives are used as the cutting medium and high-pressure hydraulic jets are used for basic cutting on materials like steel and oil in the safe, secure cutting method known as hydraulic cutting (natural gas) pipelines, and other things.
