A Digital Audio File Can Be Readily Converted Into a Podcasting

Podcasting is the creation and delivery of audio files to subscribed users' computers using RSS feeds. Users can then listen to these files on their smartphones or digital music and multimedia players like iPods by uploading them to streaming services. A podcast can be readily created from a digital audio file.

Podcasting can also be hosted on or embedded in websites, allowing for streaming or downloading, in addition to RSS. Users can download podcasts to their computers or mobile devices in the form of a collection of previously recorded talk radio programmes. Episodes from podcasts are frequently released on a regular basis. With many podcasts available for free download, there is little expense to the user. Some podcasts have commercial adverts and are sponsored or funded by businesses. In other instances, a podcast might be a commercial endeavour funded by a mix of advertising, paid membership models, or post-sale product delivery. Due to the prevalence of free podcast material, podcasting is sometimes viewed as a disruptive medium that threatens the survival of established business models.

The creation and delivery of audio files using RSS feeds to subscriber devices is known as podcasting. Typically, a podcaster purchases this service from a provider of podcast hosting, such as Soundcloud or Libsyn. Following that, hosting providers send these audio files to Apple, Spotify, and other streaming services, where users can listen to them. On their digital music and multimedia players, such as an iPhone, people can listen.
