WHAT IS SALESFORCE?
Salesforce is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform. It helps your business run smoothly with your various departments (marketing, sales, service, etc) functioning as one unit and seamlessly complementing their work for better efficiency and overall productivity reducing the unproductive time spent. It is a cloud-based platform accessible through computers, phones, and tablets which makes customer delivery possible from anywhere and keeps your customers happy everywhere.
Salesforce is a software (SaaS- Software as a Service) company that provides cloud-based service, it hosts applications customers can access online and salesforce operates on a pay-as-you-go subscription model wherein users pay on how much they consume. Because all Salesforce data and information are stored in the cloud, accessible from any device at any time.
Salesforce is currently among the market leaders in its field and has a competitive edge among its contemporaries. The sales cloud essentially automates the processes involved in sales, drives the generation of leads, and facilitates communication across multiple channels. Sales Cloud is used by sales representatives and managers in B2B and B2C segments.
Sales cloud offers a few important features like Account data and contact management, Lead management and tracking, Opportunity and product management, and Campaigns to name a few.
The sales data model has 5 main objects Campaign, Lead, Account, Contact, and Opportunity.
· Service Cloud:
Salesforce Service Cloud is a cloud-based platform for customer service management. It enables users to automate the service processes, streamline their workflows, and support customer service agents. The purpose is to foster personalized and customized relationships with every customer across multiple channels and devices.
· Marketing Cloud:
With the marketing cloud of salesforce, businesses are able to engage with customers through the right channels at the right times. The marketing cloud offers tailor-made content for each user depending on their interests, online behaviour, and other details. An individual’s online trail offers great insight as feed data here.
· Analytics Cloud:
Data is as good as wet firewood if it is not processed, synthesized, analysed, and interpreted the right way. Analytics cloud helps businesses interact with data which eventually leads to the conversion of more leads.
· Salesforce Health Cloud:
