As such, we’re thrilled to introduce you to the newest members of Ethnolink’s superstar team, whose unique perspectives and experiences help enrich our multicultural communications expertise.
Shereen Ghali
Project Coordinator
Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Shereen is an enthusiastic translation professional who loves sharing her passion for languages and people.
Before working with Ethnolink, Shereen has built up over two decades of experience in the Egyptian and Australian language industries. She has worked as a highly successful audiovisual translation project manager, as well as a freelance NAATI-certified Arabic translator.
In fact, she worked closely as one of our most trusted freelance Arabic translators for five years before she joined us full-time!

Flor Djelardini
Project Coordinator
Born and raised in Argentina, Flor has a deep passion and connection with Argentinian culture, often sharing with us stories about her country and culture.
Flor discovered her love for languages through film when she realised that she was often more interested in the subtitles than the movie. She knew then that she wanted to be the one creating those subtitles!
After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires, Flor has worked as a successful Spanish translator and audiovisual translation project manager in the Argentinian, US and Australian language industries. But she does not intend to stop there.
“I would not say my education is complete, I constantly keep taking courses to learn about new things and I plan to keep doing so for the rest of my life.”
Harriet Vaughan
Senior Translation Strategist
Harriet grew up in Wales, United Kingdom, where she received Welsh-medium education. Entering university, Harriet pursued her love for languages, completing an undergraduate degree in English Language and German Studies — then a Master in Translation!
Since graduating, Harriet has built a rich portfolio of work in the UK and Australian translation industries, specialising in multilingual public communications and audiovisual communications projects.
“I love languages because they simultaneously shape and reflect culture as they continually evolve. Experiencing and studying a different language can be like opening the door of another culture’s history as you see the imprints of change over time.”
As an Translation Strategist at Ethnolink, Harriet is dedicated to helping our clients craft multicultural communications strategies that help bridge cultures and languages.
Johanna Battista
Project Coordinator
Growing up in an Italo-Australian household in Perth, Johanna has been drawn to languages from a young age. Over the years, she explored her love for languages through her studies in French, Italian and German.
After graduating from university with a Master of Translation Studies in Italian and English Translation, Johanna joined Ethnolink as one of our Graduate Project Coordinators.
She loves that every day in translation is different, with new, exciting challenges that help bring more people together through language and culture.
