Know About Dhoop Sticks Burning Benefits- Anahata Organic

With the left hand, a bell is rung while performing the Panchopachar puja, which involves waving dhoop (frankincense) or incense sticks in front of the Deity. After waving the dhoop, devotees wave incense sticks with a particular aroma in front of the deity. This attracts the principle of the certain deity more strongly.

Deities enjoy scented dhoop, thus when dhoop is waved, they are happy.

The waves of lower Deities within the premises are activated by the Raja-predominant waves, which are also connected to Pruthvitattva (Absolute Earth Principle) and Apatattva (Absolute Water Principle) and given out by dhoop. These lesser Deities assist in limiting the entry of negative energies into the area when they are pleased.

Dhoop contributes to a sattvik environment.

The sagun (Materialized) waves of the various Deities in the universe are drawn to the fragrant particles released in its fragrance when an Dhoop sticks is waved after performing dhoop.

Why shouldn't the smoke be dispersed using the hands while waving dhoop?

The Tejtattva (Absolute Fire Principle) and Vayutattva (Air) energies are connected to the Vayu (Air) that dhoop emits (Absolute Air Principle). Through the process of effective flow, the Raja-Tama particles in the environment are destroyed. Raja-Tama particles in the area accelerate whenever dhoop is burned there. The friction brought on by this momentum leads to the creation of soft flames. When dhoop is in an active condition, it gives this dynamic energy power and causes the Raja-Tama particles in the environment to disintegrate. The Raja-Tama vibrations of the jiva's emotional thoughts, which are formed from or issued by the hand, cause hindrance for the subtle air emitted by dhoop if the smoke of dhoop is distributed with the hands.Dhoop therefore fails to perform its intended purpose of purifying the premises. Therefore, we shouldn't spread the smoke with our hands.

Using variously scented incense sticks in accordance with the tarak or marak form of the Deity being worshipped

There are two different ways to worship a deity: marak (the destroyer) and tarak (the saviour). Tarak worship involves singing the Deity's Name while in this shape in order to increase bhav (spiritual emotion) and devotion as well as to quickly experience Anand (bliss) and Shanti (peace). Worship of the Deity in marak form, for instance by chanting the Deity's Name in marak form, is primarily focused on overcoming the suffering brought on by negative energies. Utilizing substances that can draw in the most taraktattva or maraktattva of the Deity, depending on whether the worshipper is worshipping the tarak or marak form of the Deity, is more advantageous for the worshiper.

For worshipping a Deity, how many incense sticks should be used?

The number of incense sticks used varies depending on a number of variables, including the worshipper's bhav, spiritual level, spiritual practise path, and the Deity's tarak-marak form, among others. There are as many temperaments as there are persons, and there are an equal number of spiritual practise routes, according to a key Hindu Dharma principle. The number of incense sticks also varies according to this doctrine.

A seeker performing upasana (spiritual practise done with the mind) with bhav and devotion should wave one incense stick, while those performing puja as part of their duty should wave two incense sticks. This is because upasana is a spiritual practise done with the mind. In front of the Deity, the incense sticks must be waved three times.

A stick of incense and the ash produced after burning it

The ash produced by burning an incense stick is sattvik and brimming with divine qualities. It is employed as Vibhuti (Holy Ash) to boost sattvikta and alleviate the suffering brought on by adverse energies. Ash and subtle Pruthvitattva are related. It contains modest Vayutattva and is helpful for long-lasting effect because of the ash's scent.
