The Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Morigaon District of Assam near the Southern banks of the Brahmaputra River. Sprawled across an area of 38.85 sq. km., the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at 26°14′28″N and 92°03′30″Eboasts of its unique vegetation cover consisting of at least 15 varied species of grasses along with trees and swampy wetlands. Also, it covers flat floodplains and Raja Mayong hillock. It provides grassland and wetland habitat to the endangered One-horned Rhinos.
