Vice-Chancellor Scholarship – Merit based. £10,000. Application required. Deadline UG 15th April, 2022, PGT 15th May, 2022 | 9 for September 2022 (one scholarship available for each academic school) 1 for January 2023
International Scholarship up to £4,000
Deans Scholarship – Merit based. Up to £6,000. No application required
EU Student Scholarships – up to £6,000. No application required
Professional Experience Scholarship – up to £5000. Application required.
Loyalty Scholarship – Top-up of £1,000 for Bangor Alumni and their close families. No application required.
Student Life
Bangor is an affordable educational institution located between the sea and the mountains. The nightlife and the rich culture provide students with several entertainment options. The university has its own nightclub called “Academi” for socialising, has two residential bars, Barlows and Bar Uno, for eating, drinking, and hanging out, and the Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre, which is an art and entertainment venue.
The university’s ideal location is an excellent option for students who love the outdoors, as it gives them access to outdoor sports such as mountain biking, kayaking, and hiking. The university also organises a wide range of day trips, movie nights, Sunday lunches, their annual concert, and open mic nights.
