Dentistry is about the treatment, diagnosis related to gums and teeth. majority of dental treatment is carried to prevent dental caries, common oral diseases. Common treatments involve the restoration of teeth, extraction or surgical removal of teeth, scaling and root planning, endodontic root canal treatment, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dental caries is a common infectious disease it also referred as tooth decay or cavities.it can be treated by following methods like fillings, crowns, root canal, extraction.

It is caused by a combination of factors, including bacteria in your mouth, frequent snacking, sipping sugary drinks and not cleaning your teeth well.

Tooth erosion: loss of tooth structure caused by attacking the enamel.

Tooth sensitivity: it involves pain due to sweets, cold air, hot drinks, cold drinks, ice creams.

Toothaches: a broken or cracked tooth, abscessed tooth can cause toothaches.

Inflammation of gums is called gingivitis. the result of plaque building up on teeth due to poor brushing and flossing habits. Gingivitis makes gums swell and bleed while brushing or flossing. Untreated gingivitis leads to periodontitis, which is a serious infection.
