Man City shut out hosts Chelsea; Sterling, Pulisic injured
City came alive at half-time, beating Chelsea with a second-half goal from Riyad Mahrez at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.
City are just five points clear of Premier League leaders Arsenal and are now four ahead of third-placed Newcastle and fourth-placed Manchester United.

City have played one more game than Newcastle and the same number as Manchester derby rivals United, who meet them later this month.
It was Chelsea's fifth defeat in seven games in all competitions, as they lost to early injuries to Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic. The Blues sit 10th in the Premier League table with 25 points.

Then Everton single-handedly scored and scored beautifully. Sometimes that's football. Guardiola knows it will take a while for his team to get back on track and with so many at the World Cup, this visit to Chelsea will be a great chance to get them back into top form and prove they can do More than could be done to hunt down leaders Arsenal. Man City’s Erling Haaland continues to score goals at an alarming rate as he has 21 so far in the Premier League. Kevin de Bruyne is also looking back to his best and is showing off his class on the ball.
