  • The English section tests a candidate's knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.
  • The General Knowledge section covers a wide range of topics, including current events, history, geography, economics, and political science.
  • The marks obtained in the written exam are used to shortlist candidates for the interview.
  • The personal interview is conducted by a panel of officers and assesses a candidate's leadership qualities, mental and physical abilities, and other personal traits.

Selection Process:

  • The final selection is based on the marks obtained in the written exam and the personal interview.
  • The written exam carries 900 marks and the interview carries 300 marks, for a total of 1200 marks.
