A Guide to NDIS Service Providers in Sydney

The NDIS service provider Sydney was created to give people with disabilities greater control over their care. It is a landmark reform of Australia's social security system.

The NDIS relies on market robustness to allow participants to exercise choice and control over the services they receive [3]. However, if there are not enough providers in the marketplace or they are not good quality, this can result in lower participant satisfaction.

Sunnyfield

Sunnyfield is a non-government disability service provider that operates 48 homes across NSW and the ACT, employing over 1500 staff to deliver accommodation services, assistance with daily life, social and community participation, supported employment, skills development and support coordination.

Counsel assisting the commission heard two residents at a group home operated by Sunnyfield were subjected to violence and abuse. Melissa had her finger broken by a support worker, while Chen’s family reported unexplained bruising on his thigh around July 2018.

The disability royal commission also heard that the ombudsman should have informed Sunnyfield of alleged misconduct by one of its support workers. The ombudsman said it had drafted a letter that should have disclosed the alleged misconduct, but the correspondence never went to Sunnyfield.

Sylvanvale

Sylvanvale provides a range of accommodation and support services. The organisation is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider and they are committed to helping people with disability achieve their goals.

The NDIS is a national scheme that allows Australians with disabilities to access funding for their support needs, and provides them with greater choice and control over how they spend their money. It is also a great step forward for equality, as it means that people with disabilities can have a voice and are no longer forced to live with their disability in an unsatisfactory way.

Three parents of three young men with intellectual disabilities have raised concerns about the safety of a residential group home run by Sylvanvale. They have obtained documents using freedom of information laws that suggest the charity may have been double-dipping on rent payments.

Endeavour Foundation

The Endeavour Foundation is a charitable organization that aims to provide support to people with disabilities. Their services include community, work and home services.

Their aim is to make every customer’s possibilities a reality, and they are happy to hear about what’s working well for their customers.

They also offer free one-on-one NDIS consultations that will help you understand the Scheme at any stage of your journey. They can visit you in person, over the phone or even online.

The Endeavour Foundation is committed to ensuring the NDIS works well for people with intellectual disability. Their team of professionals are here to assist you with your application, understanding your plan or implementing your next one.

Mind Australia

Mind Australia is one of the country’s largest community-managed mental health service providers. Each year, it supports about 9,000 people dealing with the day-today impacts of mental illness, along with their families, friends and carers.

In order to make the most of its NDIS opportunities, Mind needed a way to improve how it met clients’ needs and meet their changing expectations. To do that, the organisation sought an organisation-wide view of how it could make its services more effective and improve its customers’ experience.

With this in mind, Mind commissioned Veritec to develop a service mix calculator – a

PowerApp that would allow it to optimise its services for NDIS clients. Using the Microsoft Power Platform, the team was able to create a tool that was scalable and helped them deliver cost-effective support to clients.

Novita

Novita is one of Australia’s leading providers of allied health services for people with disabilities. They have a team of occupational registered ndis service provider therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, psychologists and social workers who work with clients throughout their lives.

Novita has a network of hubs, which provide services in metropolitan and regional areas. They also provide telehealth services and a range of home and communitybased support services.

Novita is a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider and has been helping people with disability to navigate the NDIS since 2013. They are dedicated to providing quality supports that improve people’s lives and make them more independent.
