If you are a Canadian, you know the struggle when the Winter season rolls around and all of a sudden your vehicle is getting a salt build up on both the interior and exterior of your vehicle. For this reason, our team at Nexcar Auto Sales & Leasing is here today to inform you of the best ways you can remove the salt.
If you have or are thinking about purchasing a vehicle from our used car dealership, follow along with this blog post so that when you take your vehicle out in the winter, you know how to effectively clean all of the salt.
Removing Salt From the Interior
Oftentimes, the interior of your vehicle is impacted by road salt as your shoes carry in the salt. When this happens, the mats on the floor tend to get a nasty look of white salt buildup. In order to effectively clean these mats, we have a solution. First, you will want to fill a spray bottle with equal parts warm water and white vinegar. You can then spray this solution on your mats and gently scrub it with a brush. This will help to list the salt from within the mat. You can then either rinse out the mat with a hose and leave it in the sun to dry.
