

The Skoda Slavia, at an introductory price of Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Skoda Slavia is the brand's fourth offering in the Indian market, joining the likes of the Rapid, Octavia and Superb.
The Skoda Slavia is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform, which is a heavily localised version of the MQB platform that underpins the Octavia. The sedan comes with a bold and dynamic design that features sharp lines and creases. At the front, the Skoda Slavia gets a sleek grille flanked by sharp LED headlights with LED DRLs. The side profile features a coupe-like sloping roofline, and the rear gets a sharp LED tail lamp cluster.
Under the hood, the Skoda Slavia is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine that produces 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The sedan is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 185 km/h.
The Skoda Slavia comes with a host of features, including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a sunroof. Safety features on the sedan include six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, and electronic stability control.
The Skoda Slavia will be available in three variants: Ambition, Onyx, and Style. The Ambition variant comes with a manual transmission and is priced at Rs 7.79 lakh, while the Onyx variant with the automatic transmission is priced at Rs 9.79 lakh. The top-of-the-line Style variant with the automatic transmission is priced at Rs 10.49 lakh. The Skoda Slavia will be available in five colours: Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Lapiz Blue, and Tornado Red.
