Fabric - Pure Georgette Silk
Georgette is a lightweight, crinkled and sheer fabric, displaying an overall bouncy look. A strong absorbent, Georgette is easy to dye and has a dull-rough texture. Georgette is made from twisting yarns of silk.
Color - Blue
Weave - Phekua Jaal in sona rupa zari
Extra loose floated thread on the backside which is not woven in design is removed from that pattern. These designs provide a transparent look. Jasmine, marigold floral designs are used in cutwork. Threads are cut manually.
Bandhani derived from the Sanskrit word Banda which means “to tie” is truly an art that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns, and then dyed with extraordinary colors.
Note- There may be slight color variations due to photographic reasons.
