The producer of the popular mobile tower defence game, Hypergryph, has announced the release of Arknights: Endfield, the next instalment in the franchise. Several video game franchises have successfully transitioned from PC to console to mobile over the years. The first Arknights, a free-to-play mobile tower defence game with RPG features, was released in 2020 and became an instant hit. Hypergryph stated that Arknights would become a franchise, with Arknights: Endfield as the first instalment.
