Cheongju KB of the Korean women's professional basketball league has won two straight games, led by a triple-double from Park Ji-soo.
KB won the Woori Bank Woori WON 2023-24 regular season home game against Yongin Samsung Life 63-44 on Nov. 11 at Cheongju Gymnasium.
With the win, KB extended its winning streak to two games after opening the season. Samsung Life, on the other hand, suffered its first loss and fell to 1-1.
KB's Park Ji-soo recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the second straight game that Park led her team to victory after posting 30 points and 20 rebounds in the opening game against Shinhan Bank in Incheon on Aug. 8.
KB finished the second quarter with a 39-16 halftime lead, led by Park's 10 points, six rebounds, and four assists, as well as a stingy defense.
KB stayed strong in the third quarter. KB never lost their lead in the third quarter, even when Kang Isul suffered an ankle injury at the end of the third quarter, and went into the fourth quarter with a 53-32 lead.
KB took it easy in the fourth quarter, winning by 19 points and smiling in their home opener.
