Eligibility For Agnipath Scheme
The Indian government launched the new recruitment process named ‘Agnipath’. Under this, young patriotic and motivated youngsters can fulfill their dream of joining the Armed forces for a period of four years. During this tenure, they will be known as Agniveers and are expected to provide a boost to the armed forces. It will not only empower, discipline and skill youth with a military ethos but also improve battle preparedness suited to changing dynamics.
According to the Ministry of Defence, it will enable a younger profile in the armed forces and give a fresh lease of life to the values of 'Josh' and 'Jazba'. The ministry said the infusion of the young and fit soldiers will be a great asset to the nation.
Selection Criteria for Agniveer
The selection of candidates under the scheme will take place on the basis of performance in the PMT test conducted by the respective Recruiting Authority as well as a physical, medical examination and interview. The selected candidates will be enrolled under the respective service acts for a period of four years, after which they can opt to become part of the regular army cadre based on their willingness and merit.
Agniveer Army
If you're between 17.5 and 23 years old, and 8th to 12th pass then you can apply for the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024. Only those who make it through the selection process will get the chance to join the armed forces under this program. There are various posts that have been notified under Agniveer Recruitment 2024: Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Technical Aviation & Ammunition Examiner, Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper, Agniveer Tradesman. If you're chosen, you'll serve as an Agniveer for four years.

Agniveer Air Force
To be eligible for the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024, you need to meet certain age and education requirements. If you're applying under the Science subject category, you must be between 17.5 and 21 years old.
You should have completed your 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English, scoring at least 50% marks overall and 50% in English. Alternatively, you can have a 3-Year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks and 50% marks in English, or a 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Math from any recognized board, achieving 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
These criteria are important if you're applying under the Science subject category. If you're not applying under this category, you still need to be between 17.5 and 21 years old. Agniveer Navy
The Indian Navy has set out the requirements for the Indian Navy Agniveer Examination 2024. If you're applying for the Agniveer Navy MR Recruitment, you need to have passed your Matriculation (10th grade) from a recognized Board of School Education.
For the Agniveer SSR Recruitment, you must have passed the 10+2 Examination with Mathematics and Physics. Also, you should have studied either Computer Science, Biology, or Chemistry. In simpler terms, if you're applying for MR, you need to have passed 10th grade, and for SSR, you need to have passed 12th grade with specific subjects.
