  • Art education: Another art initiative promoted by SMRT to capture commuters' attention is through a program called Art Outreach. Singtel Touching Lives Fund (STLF) and Expressions Through Art Initiative Campaign

Singtel, in collaboration with SMRT Corporation (SMRT), has even launched an art engagement campaign to showcase the specialized art talent of students with special needs. As per this art initiative, SMRT provides a public platform to students belonging to 24 special education schools (SPED) in Singapore to best showcase their artistic talent.

  • The 36-piece digitized art collection showcases a variety of scenes from the daily life of Singapore created by SPED students aged from seven to 18 years.
  • Another part of the art exhibition conducted by SMRT features 36 pieces of artwork featuring a variety of landscapes of Singapore covering the bustling life and cityscapes across MRT stations. 
  • SPED students made special use of watercolor paint, colored pencils, and markers to color the SMRT stations and catch the widespread attention of commuters all around.
