Back in January 2018, the projected construction cost was around ₹17,761.49 crore, with an additional ₹4,198 crore allocated for acquiring over 3,404 hectares of land. However, considering inflation and the time elapsed, the total project cost is now anticipated to exceed ₹20,000 crore, potentially reaching ₹25,000 crore, inclusive of land acquisition costs.

3. Route: The ORR passes through 22 mandals, comprising 87 villages within the CRDA region.
4. Interchanges: There are nine interchanges at Kanchikacherla, Gangineni, Mylavaram, Agiripalle, Pottipadu, Chalivendrapalem, Narakoduru, Pothur, and Perecherla.
5. Tunnels: The project includes three tunnels.
6. Bridges: Fourteen bridges are planned, including two major bridges over the Krishna River.
7. Underpasses: A total of 78 underpasses will be constructed to ensure smooth traffic flow.
