Engineered with a high-quality, electronic flow and pressure control system, this gas chromatograph ensures reliable and accurate measurement across a wide range of applications. The system features a sophisticated tracking design and a highly programmable heating control system for the furnace temperature, providing users with enhanced flexibility in method development.
Safety and reliability are paramount in the LabExpo Gas Chromatography System. It is equipped with advanced self-ignition capabilities and hydrogen leakage protection mechanisms, ensuring a secure operational environment. The system supports both capillary and packed chromatography columns, with lengths ranging from 100 to 300 mm and diameters from 0.2 to 0.5 mm. It operates within an impressive temperature range, from 5 °C above room temperature to 450 °C. Additionally, the system includes specialized cold traps: a liquid nitrogen cold trap capable of operating from -80 °C to 400 °C, and a dry ice cold trap from -55 °C to 400 °C.
The maximum programmed heating speed reaches up to 120 °C per minute, with a fine temperature setting precision of 0.1 °C and a programmable heating rate from 0.1 to 120 °C/min, allowing for meticulous temperature control. Users can program up to seven temperature steps, and the longest method run time can extend to 999.99 minutes. The furnace dimensions are compact at 280 × 300 × 180 mm, while it features six individual heating areas, each with auxiliary heating capabilities up to 300 °C.
The system also provides various detector options tailored to specific analytical requirements:
- FID (Flame Ionization Detector): Maximum operating temperature of 450 °C, with a minimum limit of detection (LOD) of ≤ 2.5 pg C/s and a linear dynamic range of 10⁷ (± 10 %). It supports a data collection frequency of up to 100 Hz.
- TCD (Thermal Conductivity Detector): Operating temperature up to 400 °C, with a minimum LOD of < 400 pg C₃H₈/ml (He) and a linear dynamic range of 10⁵ (± 5 %).
- FPD (Flame Photometric Detector): Maximum temperature of 250 °C, with minimum LODs of < 4 pg S/sec and < 1 pg P/sec. It offers a linear dynamic range greater than 10³ for sulfur and 10⁴ for phosphorus.
- ECD (Electron Capture Detector): Can operate at 400 °C, with a minimum LOD > 10⁷ S and P, and a linear dynamic range of 5 × 10⁵. This detector includes a radioactive source of < 12 mCi 63Ni for enhanced sensitivity.
- NPD (Nitrogen-Phosphorus Detector): With a maximum temperature of 450 °C, it achieves minimum LODs of < 0.2 pg N/sec and P/sec, with a linear dynamic range of 10⁵ for both.
The system features an LCD display for real-time monitoring of test parameters, quick heating and cooling systems, and a gas circuit technology with a blowback function. It incorporates an imported valve configuration system and utilizes an 8-digit auto injector for precise sample handling.
