How to choose a Toilet?

There is a very large selection and variety here, you can be offered a simple seat made of soft polypropylene or a premium one made of natural wood. Here, too, it is exclusively a matter of taste. But, nevertheless, it is advisable to choose a good seat made of hard plastic called duroplast with iron chrome fasteners. This option is practically not subject to any breakdowns and is neutral to chemical and mechanical influences. Well, if you decide on a luxury seat with a smooth lowering function, in colloquial slang simply a microlift, then you will get real pleasure from using the device.

Special closers smoothly bring the lid and seat to the bowl at the moment of its closing, thereby preventing unnecessary noise and rumble. In addition, such seats have another useful quick-release function, with the help of which you can remove the seat and lid from the toilet in one movement and carry out sanitary treatment of these parts without unnecessary hassle. The presence of an installation kit should be included in the kit of every worthy product, and as for the warranty on the toilet, the principle applies here: the more, the better. The shape of the bowl, not the visually visible one, but its functional component, plays an important role when choosing and buying a toilet.

This is what determines how quickly and efficiently all unnecessary things are removed from the toilet bowl into the sewer. For some, this is the main and primary criterion, and often the only one when choosing plumbing. There are three main shapes of the bowl, on which a full flush depends: plate, visor and funnel-shaped. Plate bowls are toilet bowls with a horizontal shelf inside. In such variants, everything that needs to be removed first ends up on this shelf, and then, when flushed, is washed down the drain. Quite an unpopular and outdated system, few manufacturers make such toilets now.

And this is really so. Inside the bowl there is the same shelf, but with a slope towards the drain, which prevents the appearance of unnecessary splashes when using the product. Almost all modern domestic manufacturers use this option. Example: Sanit Ideal toilet. Funnel-shaped bowls - almost all bowls of foreign manufacturers. They do not have the anti-splash effect in full, but have a good and fast flush. Judging from the name, the drain hole is located right in the middle of the bowl and this achieves a full flush. We will not give an example, since these are all foreign options with very rare exceptions.

Drain system Well, the last and final criterion when choosing a toilet is its flush system. Yes, yes, there are definitions here too. This criterion can be said to complement the previous one and directly affects the quality of the flush. There are three main drainage systems: cascade, shower and circular. They all work on different principles, and accordingly, the result is far from the same. Cascade flush - based on targeted flows or a single central water flow. As a rule, water from the tank, at the beginning of the flush, is divided into three parts: one main flow will be directed to the center of the bowl, and the other two to the right and left sides, respectively.

Such a system creates a funnel during flushing, which allows you to efficiently and quickly remove everything from the bowl. Shower flush - based on frequent perforation with small holes along the entire perimeter of the bowl rim. When flushing, a large number of small streams evenly and efficiently clean the surface from any dirt. This is really visually similar to the operation of a shower system. This option is considered more hygienic and practical, and is used mainly on imported options. As a striking example: the Roca Debba toilet. Circular flush is the most modern and technically advanced option. This system is used in rimless toilets. In this design, the rim of the bowl is simply absent, which makes the product more hygienic compared to other brothers.

No rim, no excess dirt that accumulates under this element. As you know, the surface under the rim is almost impossible to make smooth and glaze, due to which this surface quickly and irreversibly gets dirty. In rimless toilets, this problem is completely eliminated. The water supply system in these products is designed and implemented in such a way that the flows create the necessary pressure and vector of movement, in which the entire surface is perfectly cleaned, and the bowl remains ideal after any use. Everyone decides for themselves what kind of toilet to buy based on their preferences or wishes. But there are certain rules for choosing your toilet, which is suitable in all respects for you and your bathroom. Apply simple rules when choosing your toilet, and you will never regret your purchase. We hope that this article was useful and informative for you. Happy shopping and make the right choice!
