We all know Outlook revealed its new version in September 2015 and before this we have several former versions like 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2002, 2007, 2007, and 2013. Most of the user who just joined Outlook email client application aren’t familiar with the difference between UNICODE and ANSI PST files and I am going to let them know about this with smart upgrade and downgrade solution for both Outlook UNICODE and ANSI PST files.

Unicode PST file type does support in Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and Outlook 2016 editions. It has no fixed size limit and can stores multiple special characters data. On other side the type that Outlook supports in their former versions e.g. in Outlook 97, 98, 2000, and Outlook 2002 editions that is ANSI PST. This type of Outlook doesn’t support special characterdata and has a limit of 2 GB.
