Reliance Jio subscribers now have access to content from Eros Now

Eros Now, the (over-the-top) OTT platform of Eros International has renewed its platform integration agreement with telecom giant Reliance Jio Infocomm. As part of the new contract, Reliance Jio subscribers will have access to the online video content of Eros Now.

The agreement enables Jio subscribers to access the content catalog of Eros Now that comprises of full-length movies, thematic curated playlists, and functions such as multi-language subtitles for movies, music video playlists, regional language filters, video progression, and a watch list of titles.

Eros Now boasts a registered user base of 80 million and 5 million paying subscribers worldwide as of 31 December 2017.

Rishika Lulla Singh, Eros Digital CEO, quoted, “Our journey with Jio has been very exciting and we are extremely happy to renew our association. With increasing data penetration in India, our alliance with Jio reinforces our philosophy to provide the widest choice of high quality entertainment to consumers across all platforms. As we continue to enhance our leading content offering, Jio users can enjoy the full and rich experience of the Eros Now service on Jio platform. With over 160 million 4G mobile subscribers of Jio, the partnership will allow Eros to target to this large subscriber base.”

While in India, apart from Jio, Eros Now has partnerships with Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, and Vodafone, to expand its offerings worldwide, it has partnered with Amazon Channels across the US and UK, Roku in the United States, Canada and UK and T-Mobile in the United States.
