Using the library, the permissions can be implemented in less time and efficiently. This is a basic article about Dexter covering basic features served by the library.

Dexter has different types of listener callback, error handling, and many more.

A recent commit revealed LineageOS 13, based on Android Marshmallow, was deprecated.

11 devices still ran the now-discontinued Android ROM.

LineageOS 13 was originally known as CyanogenMod 13 before the CyanogenMod team rebranded to Lineage.

Even though the Lineage team primarily focuses on the Android Nougat-based LineageOS 14.1, work was still being done on the Android Marshmallow-based LineageOS 13.

The latter appears to no longer be the case, since it seems LineageOS 13 has been discontinued.

According to a recent commit spotted on Reddit, the Lineage build server removed every LineageOS 13 target.

Material Design is still intact here, and most of the focus is on new features and bug fixes.

Your device will use motion sensors to detect when it hasn't been moved for an extended period of time, and will switch to a deeper sleep mode that consumes much less power.

Google says it took two Nexus 9 tablets, one running Lollipop and the other Android Marshmallow, loaded the same apps and settings on both, and then tested the standby power drain on the two.

Android Marshmallow permissions

App permissions are more intuitive in Marshmallow, giving users the option to allow or deny specific permissions within an app, rather than having to accept all permissions at once.

You can even revoke access for a particular permission by diving into the settings if you've accidentally allowed it.

Word selection has been made easier too, with Android Marshmallow highlighting text more intuitively, and a floating menu offers controls such as cut, copy and paste at your fingertips, rather than in the toolbar at the top of the display.

Thanks to a host of hidden features and apps, it doesn t have to happen to you.

Here are three simple ways to keep your phone s disturbances in line.

Open up the Automatic rules menu and you can set your phone to go quiet at certain times of the day or during certain events in one of your Google Calendars.

It s not foolproof if your meetings get moved around a lot at short notice, but it s still useful a large majority of the time.

To set the mode manually, drag down the quick settings drawer from the top of the screen and tap the toggle switch.

If you re not using stock Android Marshmallow, your available options may vary slightly.

Today we're running down the list of devices that have or will have soon the Google update to Android Marshmallow and Android Nougat.

It's a bit difficult to tell the whole range of devices that'll be getting Nougat as of yet since Google's not officially released the OS in full - but we've got our sensors out.

The Marshmallow list keeps growing by the day, too - the latest entry comes in the Honor 5X, which also gains EMUI 4.0 for good measure.

If you have a Google device with Nexus in its name, you'll be in luck for Marshmallow - just so long as it was made within the last several years.

• Nexus 7 2013 both editions

It's highly likely the the top half of the list above will also be getting Android Nougat sooner than later.
