BSE Threatens to Sue Comedian Kunal Kamra for Morphing Their Images

Comedian Kunal Kamra has got himself into trouble with the Bombay Stock Exchange as he posted morphed photographs of Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers, the signature building of BSE in India.

BSE has accused Kamra for using the photo of Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers for his “nefarious activities”.

On 14th of April, Comedian Kunal Kamra took to Twitter for sharing a spoof tweet which included numerous photos edited by Photoshop and the caption read “These photos are as real as Modiji’s promises”.

All the photos were hilarious and one of them was of the first-ever picture of black hole which was captured recently.

Apparently, this didn’t go down well with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers in the Dalal Street of Mumbai received a trademark registration last year in June which implies that brands or artists willing to feature the Towers in their project or work ought to get the consent of BSE first.
